🗓 Day 1 – Arrival Muscat

You will arrive at the Muscat International Airport. Upon your arrival, you proceed straight to the immigration. Immigration & customs are quick & simple. Upon arrival at the general arrival lounge, you will be met by our friendly & efficient chauffeur, who will assist you to the comforts of our vehicle to drive you to the hotel.

Overnight in the Muscat Hotel.

🗓 Day 2 – Muscat City Tour

Morning:

• Sultan Qaboos Grand Mosque (Allow 1.5 hrs)

  • It is open at 8:00 AM for visitors (closed Fridays).

  • Explore the chandeliers, Persian carpet, and peaceful courtyards.

Mid-Morning:

• Royal Opera House Muscat (30–45 mins)

  • An optional guided tour is available if you’re interested in architecture.

Afternoon:

• Muttrah Souq & Corniche (1–1.5 hrs)

  • Wander through the narrow alleys for souvenirs, frankincense, and silver.

  • Walk along the scenic Corniche with ocean views and traditional boats.

Evening:

• Al Alam Palace—Walk around the colourful ceremonial palace.

• Al Jalali & Al Mirani Forts—Enjoy views from outside the palace area.

• Dinner at a seafood or Omani restaurant (e.g., Bait Al Luban).

🛏 Overnight: Muscat

🗓 Day 3 – Mountains & Hidden Villages

Morning:

• Nakhal Fort (1 hr)

  • Beautifully restored fort with views over palm plantations.

• Ain Ath Thawarah (30 mins)

  • Natural hot spring – scenic but not for swimming.

Midday:

• Drive to Wadi Bani Awf (requires 4WD)

  • Stunning off-road adventure, winding through dramatic canyons.

  • Visit Snake Canyon (optional short hike if time allows).

Afternoon:

• Visit Bilad Sayt

  • A mountain village surrounded by terraced fields—great photo spot.

Late Afternoon:

• Climb to Jebel Shams (“Mountain of the Sun”)

  • Arrive before sunset for breathtaking views of Oman’s Grand Canyon.

🗓 Day 4 – Canyon to Culture

Morning:

• Al Khatim Village (on the rim of Jebel Shams)

  • Traditional village walk.

• Jebel Shams Rim Walk (optional short hike or photo stop)

Midday:

• Descend to Wadi Ghul

  • Walk among the cliffs and take in the natural canyon formations.

Afternoon:

• Al Hamra

  • Walk the streets of this ancient mud-brick village.

  • Beit Al Safa Museum: Experience traditional Omani life from the past.

🗓 Day 5 – Castles & Old Towns

Morning:

• Misfat Al Abriyeen (1.5 hrs)

  • Explore the lush date farms, ancient stone houses, and falaj water system.

Midday:

• Bahla Fort (UNESCO Site)

  • Massive ancient fort—ideal for exploring Omani architecture and taking photos.

• Jabreen Fort

  • Intricately decorated interiors and panoramic rooftop views.

Afternoon:

• Drive to Nizwa

  • Wander the traditional Nizwa Souq—check out the silver and spice sections.

  • If time allows, visit Nizwa Fort.

🗓 Day 6 – Desert Discovery

Morning:

• Birkat Al Mouz

  • Walk through the ruined village and the lush banana/date plantations.

  • See the ancient Falaj irrigation system (UNESCO).

Midday:

• Head to Ibra

  • Visit the historic Al Manzafah Village—a ghost town full of charm.

Afternoon:

• Enter the Wahiba Sands (Sharqiya Desert)

  • Optional dune bashing, camel rides, or sandboarding.

Evening:

• Watch the sunset over golden dunes.

• Enjoy a traditional dinner and Bedouin-style hospitality.

🗓 Day 7 – Desert to Sea

Morning:

• Drive to Wadi Bani Khalid

  • One of Oman’s most beautiful wadis: turquoise pools, cliffs, and palm groves.

  • Bring swimwear for a refreshing dip!

Midday:

• Head to Sur

  • Visit the traditional dhow shipyard—see boats being built by hand.

  • Walk through Al Aijah Village with sea views and old houses.

Late Afternoon:

• Drive to Ras Al Hadd for a relaxing evening.

Evening:

• Turtle Watching at Ras Al Jinz

  • Guided tours start around 9 PM to observe nesting turtles on the beach.

🗓 Day 8 – Wadis & Sinkholes

Morning:

• Wadi Shab (2.5–3 hrs)

  • A short boat ride followed by a scenic hike to waterfalls and swimming pools.

  • Optional: swim into a cave with a waterfall inside.

Afternoon:

• Hawiyat Najm (Bimmah Sinkhole)

  • A dramatic natural pool formed by a collapsed cave—great for a short swim.

• Wadi Al Arabeen

  • Drive into this secluded valley surrounded by cliffs and greenery.

🛏 Overnight: Muscat

🗓 Day 9 – Sea Safari

Morning to Afternoon:

• Boat cruise to the Dimaniyat Islands (typically 5–6 hrs)

  • Snorkelling & dolphin watching in crystal-clear waters.

  • Home to coral reefs, colourful fish, and sea turtles.

• Enjoy a picnic lunch on the boat or a nearby beach.

Evening:

• Return to Muscat, relax, or shop before departure.

Departure transfers to the airport to connect to the flight back home.
